Busoga Holdings Ltd
Busoga Kingdom established a company that will be responsible to carry out several business activities in abid to raise and generate funds for the Kingdom.
The Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Royal Highness Isebantu Henry Wako Muloki launched this business Company called Busoga Holdings Limited at a colourful ceremony held at the Kingdom Headquarters Bugembe on 22nd June 2005 and a seven man Board committee chaired by Hajji. Twaha Gwaivu was inaugurated. Other Board members include:

- Mrs. Rona Ngobi

- Mrs. Ziriya Ndifuna

Two months after inauguration, a three man Kingdom delegation led by the Prime Minister Owek. Martin Mukasa Musumba, in company of Busoga Holdings Limited Chairman Hajji Twaha Gwaivu and the Kingdom Attorney General Hajji Shaban Muziransa, visited the President and the Chief Executive Officer of IGS Mr. Wallace .D. Andrews based in Worcester, USA to link up and finally engage Busoga Holdings Limited into business.
Call Center
Following their visit, Busoga Holdings Limited was able to capture the attention of the call center expert Mr. Wallace .D. Andrews who entered into a contract to develop the first call center in East Africa, in Jinja - Busoga Kingdom.
Mr. Wallace .D. Andrews said the establishment of a call center project in Jinja, Uganda, would cost US $ 1.5 million and between 100-150 people would be employed but added that in two years time it will be in position to employ about 5,000 people.
Prime Minister
The Kingdom Prime Minister Owek. Martin Mukasa Musumba says the Kingdom supported by the Central Government, puts a high premium on communication and added that it is his vision to see the Kingdom flourish in business entrepreneurship
He further says the call center will among other things provide customer service, order fulfillment, telemarketing and market research and that if all goes well, the project will take off in February next year, 2006.
He adds that Inter Global will initially be a consulting partner with Busoga Holdings Limited with the hope of later forming a joint venture and then a three months induction training program for prospective employees will be conducted before work begins.
Public Reactions
After hearing news of the call center in Busoga Kingdom, the general public got excited and hailed the Kingdom leadership for restoring hope and responding to some of the challenging issues within the Kingdom.
Busoga University
Busoga Kingdom has linked up Busoga University to North Eastern University in Boston, USA to develop a technological park in Uganda which will also be the technological park in East Africa.
