Busoga gets Call Centre

The proposed call center to the first to be built in Africa has started to take shape with the graduation of 150 trainees fro Easy Learning Centre, the parliamentary I.C.T committee led by Hon. Edward Balidawa ( M.P Kigulu North) hear during a familiarization tour.

The multi – million-communication center is a private joint venture between Busoga kingdom and government.

The committee heard that the Easy Learning Centre is a component of the proposed call center providing training of personnel.

The project coordinator , Godfrey Serunjoji said they were awaiting president Museveni’s pledge of  US $1.5m to kick start off the project that he launched in January 2006.

The Call center is to be located at Scenic Bugembe Headquarters in Jinja
